Nikon D7000 review

Dennis Hissink
IFA Report

Reviews IFA 2010 : Nikon is extending its D-series with a new SLR camera, the Nikon D7000. This is part of a nice series of SLR cameras, the D3100, D5000 and now also the Nikon D7000. A Nikon D9000 might just be the next model… The new Nikon D7000 is a whole new DSLR camera generation and falls between the Nikon D5000 and the D90, at least in terms of pricing. The D90 is still part of the picture, at least until it gets a successor (the Nikon D9000?). This Nikon DSLR is a camera aimed at the serious amateur photographer and offers a full package of camera-settings for creative photography as well as videography, as the Nikon D7000 supports Full HD 1080p video.

HTC Desire HD review

Posted by: Ilse Jurrien Friday 31st, December 2010

HTC HD Smartphone review - The new HTC Desire HD Smartphone comes in a slim packaging with a large image of the phone itself on the front. As soon as we open the packaging, the HTC Desire HD can be picked up immediately. The HTC Desire HD Smartphone looks impressive, it is big but it also has a very sleek design. The front of the phone has a large touchscreen of 4.3 inches, with a few touch keys underneath it. The back of the HTC Desire HD Smartphone is made out of one piece, just like the HTC Legend, although it does have a couple of flaps and a cut-away near the flash made of a different material which makes the HTC mobile phone look a bit rough.

Samsung Galaxy Tab review

Posted by: Mark Peters Saturday 25th, December 2010

During the IFA 2010, the Samsung Galaxy Tab was shown and a few months later, the Tab has seen a phased introduction and is now available in different countries. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Android tablet can be comfortably held in one hand, just like holding a Smartphone, although you will notice its weight after a while. I put the tablet flat on the table to keep working with it. Operation is intuitive and the tablet’s buttons in combination with the touch control make it easy to navigate. The memory card slot for the microSD / SDHC cards and the SIM slot are found on the side of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. In addition, the on/off button and the volume button are neatly integrated into the side. The front of the Samsung Galaxy Tab, there is a VGA camera for video calling, and a 3 Megapixel digital camera is on the back.
