Apple announced enhancements to its .Mac online service, highlighted by the debut of .Mac Web Gallery, a feature for sharing photos and movies on the Internet. .Mac Web Gallery lets members easily share photos and movies directly from iLife 2008. In addition, .Mac Web Gallery visitors can download high quality images for printing and even contribute photos using a standard web browser or email. Other new .Mac features include a tenfold increase in .Mac storage to 10GB, support for personal domains for iWeb websites and enhancements to .Mac Mail. “.Mac Web Gallery is an awesome way to share photos and movies on the Internet with friends and family,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO.

Apple iWork 2008

Apple introduced Apple iWork 2008, an upgrade to Apple’s productivity software suite featuring new versions of Pages and Keynote word processing and presentation applications, and introducing an spreadsheet application called “Numbers.” Numbers introduces the concept of intelligent tables on a flexible canvas, a approach that makes it easy to organize information, create calculations, analyze results and make spreadsheets look as great as they work. “Pages and Keynote make it easy, and even fun, for anyone to create stylish documents and presentations very quickly,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “Numbers rounds out the iWork suite, which is far more intuitive and easy to use than anything else out there.”

Apple iLife 2008

Apple introduced iLife 2008, featuring a major new version of iPhoto and a completely reinvented iMovie. iPhoto 2008 automatically organizes photo libraries into Events that let users more easily manage their growing photo collections, and iMovie 2008 introduces an entirely new way for users to quickly make movies and share them online. Both iPhoto and iMovie integrate seamlessly with the new .Mac Web Gallery, Apple’s new service for .Mac members to instantly create and host stunning online websites for their photos and videos. iLife 2008 also features iWeb 2008, with live web widgets such as Google Maps and GarageBand 2008, with Magic GarageBand feature that makes it fun and easy to create great sounding songs.

IFA NEWS 2017 REPORT - The IFA International Consumer Electronics Show took place every two years, but since 2006 the IFA show became once again an annual event under Berlin’s famous Funkturm landmark. In the early days, back in 1924 the IFA began in Berlin as the “Great German Radio Exhibition”. In the meantime, the International Consumer Electronics Show has not only become the world's biggest trade show for consumer electronics but also presents the world's largest number of product premieres in consumer electronics and home appliances. At IFA 2009 more than 3 billion Euros worth of orders were generated. IFA 2010 could even surpass this number! The total number of exhibitors at last year’s IFA show was 1164 from 46 countries.
